Moments that never made it to the blog #3: November

Here's what I got up to in November, hope you enjoy!

 Coco Bliss- Bullimba

On Monday afternoon I headed to Bulimba as I had heard that the Coco Bliss cafe offered delicious and healthy gluten and dairy free options.

On a boiling hot summers day like this one was, this cafe is not to be missed! You can pick up smoothies, juices, acai and smoothie bowls. There is even an entire range of cakes and slices which all appeared to be gluten and dairy free. As you can imagine, this cafe is a haven for those with dietary intolerances as well as those who love healthy, nourishing food without all the nasty refined sugars and preservatives. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Billy Kart- Annerley

I finally got to dine at Billy Kart last week! As someone who loves to cook and is an avid follower of celebrity chefs, I was hanging out to eat here. For those who do not know, Billy Kart is owned by Celebrity Chef Ben O'Donoghue. This restaurant serves up his seasonal menu and it is unbelievably tasty.

I went there for lunch and ordered the buttermilk brined chicken with lemon and zucchini. Honestly, this was probably the best meal I have had in a few years. When I took my first bite I was blown away! I don't know why I expected any less, but I suppose when you eat something that is just an irresistible harmony of flavours, it really does catch you by surprise every time.

The menu at Billy Kart is well priced considering the amazing dish you are served. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you are ever in Brisbane. Not only does it offer amazing food, it has a great laid-back atmosphere, which really contributes to the authentic and relaxing dining experience. I am hoping that in the near future I will be able to try the breakfast menu because it looked phenomenal!

South Bank- Brisbane City

A few weeks ago I headed into the city to go shopping with a friend. I decided to get the bus a bit earlier just so I could walk around and see what I could come across. That may sound a little odd to some, but I often find a lot of peace and relaxation just walking through cities with little to no intention.

I always enjoy walking through the South Bank arches, which are wrapped in the most vibrant shade of purple. You can't help but feel struck happiness when you walk beneath something that is so enchanting.

South Bank also offers great viewpoints of Brisbane City. If you are a tourist or like exploring cities like myself, definitely check out South Bank.
