A trip to the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art

If you’re from Queensland, you know that summers here can be deadly. The combination of the unwavering humidity and the blistering heat make it difficult to do a lot of things during the day.

However, if you’re desperate to beat the heat, heading to the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art might just be what you’re looking for.  I went to the GOMA last week and its definitely a great option. One of its main advantages is that its free to enter- so why wouldn’t you go?! Its located right next to the Cultural Centre and State library so its also super easy and convenient to get to.

If you’re more of a creative and artistic person this place is just for you. As someone who personally isn’t awfully interested in art, I still found the GOMA to be enjoyable! I suppose what I liked most is that I rarely go to galleries, so it was fun to do something out of the ordinary.
