If you’re from Queensland, you know that
summers here can be deadly. The combination of the unwavering humidity and the
blistering heat make it difficult to do a lot of things during the day.
However, if you’re desperate to beat the heat,
heading to the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art might just be what you’re looking
for. I went to the GOMA last week and
its definitely a great option. One of its main advantages is that its free to
enter- so why wouldn’t you go?! Its located right next to the Cultural Centre and State library so its also super easy and convenient to get to.
If you’re more of a creative and artistic
person this place is just for you. As someone who personally isn’t awfully interested
in art, I still found the GOMA to be enjoyable! I suppose what I liked most is
that I rarely go to galleries, so it was fun to do something out of the
ordinary.
